Bunnies are very sensitive animals, you must always be very careful and attentive, they have to take vaccines (in countries where this is mandatory, see here ), go to the vet at least twice a year, there are diseases that are fatal for them and it is necessary to maintain the fur and nails.
If Bunny stops making poops it´s imperative that you take him urgently to the vet, a bunny without making poop is a sick bunny.
If your bunny is listless , unresponsive or annoying, take him to the vet urgently, we are very good at hiding our problems, so when you see us complaining about something, it is because we are really bad.
There are a few essential points that should be taken into account that are very important to know when the bunny is not well, I will leave here those that are the most important to take into account and that indicate that you need to go to the vet urgently:
-They are very letargic;
-Stands in a darker or hidden corner;
-Don't drink water;
-Do not eat;
-Don't pee;
-Don't poop;
-Do not accept your favorite cookie;
-Makes soft poo or diarrhea;
-Pee and stay on top of it;
-Has blood in the urine;
- Sneezes with mucus or shows signs of breathing difficulties;
-Very swollen and hard belly;
-Grind the teeth with a lot of force or higher than normal;
-Can't stand up, have loss of balance;
-Has any fracture / broken bone;
If your bunny has any of these signs or even several, call your vet, at this time all the time counts and the sooner your bunny receives medical care the better chance everything will go well.
Do not start to self-medicate your rabbits, nor to feed or force them to drink water, this can make the rabbit's condition even worse and end up being fatal.
