Diet is one of the most important points in our life!

Therefore, I will speak very carefully and in as much detail as possible about the topics that I think are most important for you humans to know.

Our system is always moving and cannot stop or we run serious health risks, so before anything else , know that the most important thing is HAY!

Yes, Hay is life!

We have to be eating hay all the time, so our system is always working and we don't suffer any health problems.

Bunnies are gramiveros, do you know what that is? It means that a bunny's diet are gramineous and that's what bunnies  eat in nature and that's what our system is programmed for, as humans don't have space nor can they always have fresh gramineous to we eat, they learned that if they dry they last longer and we can continue to eat them, so hay is very important!

Now tell me can you give your bunny fresh gramineous every day at all times? Varied? if you can then congratulations! you can leave the hay as a "snack" for your bunny, but if you can't, then you really have to give hay. And watch out! Not all weeds are gramineous! Vegetables aren't, green leafs aren't and many other herbs aren't either , it's very important to know how to distinguish gramineous from other herbs and do the right thing.

 Hay occupies 80% of our food, the remaining 20% is divided between leaf greens, pellets and herbs, but even in this division, green leafs and herbs have a higher percentage than pellets.

The important thing is to have a varied and balanced diet, just like you humans we cannot always be eating the same thing because it makes us sick, in the list you have here of the green leafs that we can eat daily, it does not mean that we should eat all the days the same thing, it is to vary throughout the week , in fact we should eat at  minimum  3 different green leafs a day and not repeat more than two days in a row.

And 3 or more herbs good for our tummy and system.

Vegetables and fruit should be avoided or given only as a treat, as they are high in sugar and protein, they should not be given too often as they will alter our flora and end up creating problems.

Another point is pellets, many of you humans think it is very important, but no, in fact, if our diet is balanced , we don't even need to eat pellets, so pellets is just a very small amount .

Another important issue is that we are not like humans, we don't need to eat 4 meals a day, if you want to spread them out throughout the day, you can do them 3 times , that is, in the morning, in the middle of the afternoon or in the evening. and before bed, as we are more limp after eating, leaving us with a full belly before going to bed will make us more peaceful and calm.

Attention, big and "giant" bunnies need to eat much more than dwarf bunnies.

Do not forget that it´s very important to see the poops and pees to see if the diet we are having is good or if there is a deficit or excess of nutrient.
