Little and cute, little balls of fur that makes you want to pick and knead, fill them with treats and caresses.

However, these cute babies should stay with their mothers for at least 2 or3 months, I know that many humans do not agree, especially breeders who make this their life and have no problem making money  whit innocent animals, but so far you can distinguish a good breeder from a bad breeder.

Many will say that with 45 days babies no longer breastfeed, (often moms continue to let their babies secretly breastfeed even when they already eat grass and other things), they say we no longer need our mother , we are independent, dear humans , babies may not even breastfeed anymore, but they still have a lot of rabbit things to learn , it’s at this stage that we learn to live with other bunnies, we learn with our mom to wash ourselves, the importance of eating cecotrophs, we learn a lot that in another situation we will never learn.

Did you know that bunnies can have up to 10 babies at once? And this is because more than 60% of them will not be able to reach 3 months, so we have to have so many babies so can survive some, now think, if even if  with us  they can die, how much more if they whore take from us to go to your House.

As cute as they are, don't bring it home, don't accept it if they give it to you and if they are selling, eliminate and report whoever does it.

Unless the mother has not survived the birth or that something has happened and did not survive the bunnies should always stay with they mother.

I have already seen some humans looking for bunnies with babies to join orphaned babies, it will not work, rabbit moms do not accept bunnies that are not theirs, so in these situations, it have to be the humans to take care of the babies.

The bunnies don´t have  heat, (see here more about this) like other animals in nature, in fact we females, are always ready to make babies usually start at around 3 or 4 months, our pregnancies are 31 days ( but it may vary a few more days or less), during that time we are left with the hormones a little out of control, so we will be different, pregnancy is not an easy or pleasant process for us, in fact we do not find it much fun to have to having babies, but the point is that after 31 days and after the babies are born, if you put a male next to us, we will feel like need making babies again and we will reject the ones we just had, we can eat them , although this usually happens when we have a food shortage and we have to fill it with babies.

Babies need special attention, special nutrition and special care, just like moms.
